As the Director of Safety for APC Construction, LLC, Michael is responsible for the overall safety culture for APC’s Heavy/Civil, Deep Foundations, Power Services, and Industrial Service Divisions. Michael is an HSE professional and brings 30 years of leadership and construction experience to APC. Previously, Michael has served in various HSE leadership roles for multiple organizations where he learned to develop and leverage leadership, time-management, creativity, and decision-making skills to reduce EHS risks, ensure compliance and maximize human and organizational performance. His belief is “Make Safety Personable”. This is achieved by developing strong relationships and making it a foundation of everything you do, both professionally and personally.
Michael is a resident of Denham Springs, LA where he was born and raised. He is a graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University. He holds a certification as an SMS (Safety Management Specialist through the BCSP and CUSP (Certified Utility Safety Professional through the USOLN) with a Civil Endorsement. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and Utility Safety & Operations Leadership Network.
