PENTAGON INTERIOR RENOVATION OF WHS OFFICE SPACE – DESIGN BUILD
THE PENTAGON RESERVATION, VIRGINIA
APC was the prime contractor on this 16,000 sq. ft. design-build office space renovation and build out, which included the conversion of the existing space into two separate Special Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) suites with a shared vestibule.
The extremely tight schedule included the following scope of work: design, demolition, fire stop, framing, concrete decking, sound-transmission co-efficient (STC) rated walls, suspended ceiling systems, Information Technology (IT) infrastructure via raised access flooring, flooring, painting, signage, doors/hardware, cabinet/millwork, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, security systems, access controlled doors, energy management control system (EMCS), fire protection, furniture, finishes, and commissioning. In order to maintain security, APC had personnel with active Secret clearance on site at all times to escort un-cleared Contractor personnel.
